An End to a Means

It is true that if you operate within the laws of the Universe, you can have great abundance, and we can enjoy that. But that misses the point --- the reason you are here in this dream. You can have all the money and everything you want, but you are here to remember and recognize yourself as Love, as One with your Creator. You do this through your relationships. So whether you do the next business deal or are successful on the next project is irrelevant. These are only the ends to a means.

Knowing and Understanding

If you think that you know, then you cannot understand. Only through acknowledgment that you cannot know comes the peace of God, and with it, understanding.

You Are A Mirror

You are a mirror for everyone you encounter. Is the reflection dirty, or is it spotless? You mirror is a reflection of Him. It is always perfectly clean, perfectly pure, but it may be covered with dirt. This dirt is easily removable if you are willing. But you have to drop all false beliefs you have about yourself, about others, and about your relationship with Him. Is it more important for you to be "right," to hold the anger, resentment, and bitterness, to continue being seen as a victim, or is His peace more important? Don't try to muddle the choice. It is very black and white. You have to be willing to give it ALL up. He has actually made it very easy to reach Him. One decision is all you have to make.

Happiness

Happiness comes when we no longer strive to be happy. It is the striving, the desire to be something or have something different, which blocks your awareness of the natural happiness or joy that has always been there.

All Is Used

God creates the highest good out of every situation, even tragedies. A good analogy is that there are no scraps left on the dinner plate. Everything and everyone is use to create the highest good for all. Everything is used to bring each of us closer to Him.

Conditioning

What is conditioning? When your belief system does not evolve naturally, this is conditioning. For instance, let's say your mom was a fanatic about cleaning and you were cleaning all the time as a child. Now, as an adult, you can't leave the house for even 5 minutes unless everything is in good order --- no dishes, beds made, everything in place. Some people might call this obsessive compulsive, but you have definitely been conditioned by your upbringing to be like this. There is obviously religious conditioning, and there is societal conditioning. As a member of society, you are expected to conform to certain rules. Strong societal conditioning is why very few Germans spoke out against the treatment of Jews by Hitler. There is no conditioning of any kind that is good. It is a type of fear. You do something or you conform to some rules, because you fear the consequences if you don't conform. Without conditioning, without fear, we evolve to a belief system that supports our recognition of Oneness with God.

Behind Appearances

Nothing is inherently "good" or "bad." Something "becomes" this when we assign our belief to it. Remember, behind all appearances is God.

Your Mind

A mind may be a terrible thing to waste, but it is not a terrible thing to keep still. Speak and act from your heart, not your mind.

Stop Doing ....

It's really this simple. Stop doing what doesn't work. Stop doing what doesn't bring you true joy and peace, what doesn't bring you physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well being and vitality. If you are not certain what that is, then ask --- God will show you. But then you have to follow what He shows you. If you are not willing to do that, then don't complain about your life not working. You are not a victim --- you are responsible for everything that happens in your life.

Serving Him

Do you realize that when you want to serve God, you don't care if it is on the world stage or working with one person under a bridge? The joy is in serving Him. You don't see any differences, and form doesn't matter. This is true selflessness, where an "I" is not present. And not only is there where your joy lies, this is who you are.

We Block It

Do you believe that God goes before you and makes easy the way? Do you believe that He will take care of your every need and bless you with great abundance? If not, then these things will not happen. It is not God who blocks the path --- we block it. We falsely believe that it has to be hard, that we have to do something, some penance, to earn His Love and for Him to give us the Kingdom. Oh if you only dropped all false beliefs and surrendered to who you are, the path would become so easy.

Its Only Love

Every experience, no matter how painful or how joyous, is used as a blessing to show you that only Love exists.

Freedom

Freedom is the result of non judgment. When you judge, you put limits on both yourself and the person being judged. When you withdraw judgment and those limits, you allow yourself and the other person the freedom to be what they really are, which is Love.

As You Are

God sees you as you are, not as you think you are.

Purification

To know Oneness and Union with God, you must be like Him. Since He is pure and perfect, you must be purified in the fires of His Love. All that is impure in you --- all of your false beliefs, your self judgment, your pride, your fear, your resentment, your bitterness, your self pity --- all of this must be burned away. Just as a piece of wood becomes like the fire, you must be transmuted and transformed. If you run away when the fire of His Love begins to just singe those areas within you that need to be purified, how will you endure more severe trials and tribulations? Our Father wants to raise everyone to Union with Him, but how few are the ones who really want it bad enough to endure what it takes to get there? "If you have grown weary running with the footmen, how will you contend with the horses? And if you have had quiet in the land of peace (if you are satisfied with your life in this illusory world), what will you do in the swelling of the Jordan?"

First On Yourself

How do we forgive others? First, we practice on ourselves. Think of something that you have thought of before and for which you have condemned yourself. After you feel that self judgment, ask for God's help so that the counterpart to that judgment, the forgiveness and Love that is contained within you, can come to the surface. It is inaccurate to say that this forgiveness and Love is contained within you --- it is who you are, but it may feel like only a small part of you. Allow that forgiveness and Love to cleanse the judgment --- there is no conquering, as this is not a contest. When we place our focus on what we are, the forgiveness and Love, everything false (the judgment) falls away. Remember, this feeling of forgiveness. Your memory and ability to pull it up again is contained in the feeling, not the thought. The more you work with this and continue to bring it up, the greater the presence will be for you. Eventually, no self judgment will remain.

Where The Answers Lie

You have all the answers you will ever need inside of you, because you are One with God. There is no one who can give you answers that are "right" for you except yourself, and if someone tries to tell you otherwise, walk away from them.

Your "Problems"

This world appears like a mess. We see many problems that are worsening --- extreme divisiveness and polarization, millions of kids under age six on prescription medicines, a crumbling financial system and money as a God to many, teenagers so desensitized, so cut off from their own true nature and with no support systems that they become killing machines, huge numbers of depressed individuals, polluted water, food, and skies --- need I go on?

How did we get here? God is the reason we are here --- no, we are not being punished by Him. We are punishing and doing it to ourselves! We have completely turned our face from Him and His Love individually and collectively. The farther we believe we "move" from Him, the more self judgment we feel and then project into the world (judgment, hatred, wars, etc) and the more we try to fill that hole of longing for His Love with stuff --- material goods, sex, medicators like drugs or alcohol, position, etc.

There is great news! God and His Love is the solution to EVERY one of yours and the world's "problems." For they are not really problems --- they appear that way to us now, but they will melt away into nothingness when we return to and feel His Love, which then reveals the Kingdom.

You Want Results

When we did business before we had cell phones and email, you expected that it would take a day or two for someone to get an answer and return your message. Now, the expectation is that an answer should be forthcoming in no more than a few hours. This is similar to our expectations around God. We expect Him to provide for us or fix our problem almost instantly, but we are unwilling to give him what He needs to do that. He needs and wants that communion with us, kind of the quiet we were in before technology took over our lives. There is nothing wrong with technology or anything, as it is all of God. But we can misuse it so that it takes us away from Him. The longer we spend in that communion with God, the "quicker" we will see the results we want.

Don't Think Less

When Jesus came back to a full recognition of his Oneness with God, there was no change that occurred. And recognition is not even the proper word. It is a complete falling away of that which is false, revealing that which is true and what was the only thing that was ever there. You walk the same path. You can do the things he did --- he told you so! But it is not about doing miracles. It is about returning to Love. Don't think of yourself as anything less than God's holy and sinless Beloved, for if you do, you think less of Him.

There Is No Limit

God will be as present in your life as you allow Him to be.

He is there now --- you are One with Him --- there is no limit to the depth of the Love that you can feel from that. You can't block His Presence. It can only appear to you that you block Him through the false beliefs you hold about yourself, about Him, and about your relationship with Him.

Measure What You Mete

When Jesus said "with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again," he was not talking about being punished. This is how the body of God and its laws operate. Because we are One, that which is done by you is done to you. This includes your thoughts, words, and actions. If you say an unkind word, or cheat, or lie, at some point the same will come back to you. If you treat everyone with respect and say a kind word to everyone you encounter, and you take actions which benefit others, the same will come back to you. This coming back, like a boomerang, rarely happens immediately and by the same person, so many do not understand the law, because they do not see the correlation. If someone does understand the law, they would realize how important it is to try and be pure in their thoughts, words, and actions.

Partial Evidence

How can you make judgment of something you do not understand? It is likely you do not understand anything, because you judge on partial evidence. Your eyes bring you what it is your mind wants to see. Your mind wants to see what it is that validates your beliefs. And your beliefs have been created from your experiences, which are narrowly focused and unique to you. This is why you make judgments --- self judgments, judgments of others, judgments of situations or experiences, judgments of your divinity and God --- based on partial evidence. Partial evidence is no evidence --- how many times have you judged someone or something, only to get "evidence" down the line that made you realize you were wrong? Place no faith in judgment, because judgment is not of God. His Love, unconditional Love (Love without conditions), sees past all of the "errors" or "sins" you think that you or others have done in this dream to His holy child who has never separated from Him. So how do you walk in this world without judgment? You evaluate, you discern, from Love, not from the ego's judgment. Then you can truly be making decisions based on His Will for you.

What It Means To Be Present

You cannot know God if you are not present. This means being present with yourself and being present in the Now. When we are present with ourselves, we don't run from ourselves --- we must accept ourselves as we are, all of the emotions such as anger and grief, the insecurities, the fear, the judgment, the guilt, etc. Only by fully feeling our emotions and by accepting what we see as "negative," can we transform those and see who we really are, which is Light, which is Love, which is One with God.

When we accept and don't try to hide or run from them, we stay in the present moment. The Now heals them, because God is present only in the Now. The Now dissolves the illusion of time, that there is a "past" and a "future." We believe there is a past, because all of our "negative" emotions and judgments are created only from a past. All of these go away in the present moment, for God is there, and when the Presence of God is recognized within you, you are acknowledging your Oneness with Him and All that is. You have no problems, no past, no future, when you are in the Now.

What It Means To Be Present

Do You Have The Right Perspective?

When you see a homeless person, do you judge that person's experience as inferior? Do you think that having guaranteed food and shelter is "better" than not? First, remember that nothing of this world is guaranteed. It will all fade away into dust. What is guaranteed is His Love, His abundance, and you must look to Him as the Source, not the world. So with the homeless person, how do you know that this is not the "best" experience for that person? Maybe this is what they have chosen at a level of Spirit to come back to Him. Maybe they recognize that the trinkets and trappings of the world can act as an impediment to Him. Maybe they have appeared to you to show you this, to have you not become homeless, but to show you how to be in the world but not of it, not attached to anything. Then again, maybe not. What can be recognized here is that we do not have the high perspective to judge anyone's experience. This leads to humility, and humility leads to Him.

Is It Working The Way You Want?

If your life is not working the way you want and you want to have more peace and joy, stop creating your identity from what is temporary. Don't create an identity that you are a high powered lawyer, great doctor, or a leader of some group, not the member of a prominent family, not a member of a rejected class of society --- these are only roles you play, experiences you have, not who you are. You are not the forgotten middle child nor the rejected grandmother, not the victim, not the conquerer. Your identity is not one of low self worth, not one of guilt or shame, not fear. Your identity comes from one Source --- from Him. This is who you are. This is what is eternal, and for that we can express great gratitude and joy.
