How Can You Get Comfortable ...?

How can you get comfortable with something that makes you uncomfortable, like guilt or shame, feeling unworthy or unloved, etc? Be uncomfortable with it. Be present with it. Don't run form it, don't medicate it with food, drugs, sex, internet, exercise --- any number of creative ways man has come up with it. Only by acknowledging it, by feeling it, by being present with it, can the Love/Light/Grace of God heal it for you. Because if you deny it or keep it hidden, God cannot help you. He cannot take it from you. And it will only fester like cancer and affect your being in some many ways.

It Is Just An Appearance

Guilt and self judgment are the two things which create within us a perceived separation from God. If those two were not present, you would fully know your Oneness. And they are just an appearance that is held up solely by the power of your belief. You can walk the world as Jesus did and do greater things than he, as he told you this was possible.

Purely From Spirit

We can operate in the world purely from Spirit. Instead of the ego steering the boat, it becomes a tool to be used when needed, just like you pick up a hammer when you need to pound a nail. Unfortunately, most people have deceived themselves and are asleep to the fact that the temporary part of them is steering the boat.

There are no secrets with God. He sees your shame, your guilt, your fear. Many try to hide their "sins" from Him, but they do not realize that He sees only His holy and sinless creation. He sees only Love, for that is all that exists. Surrender to Him all that you crucify yourself for. Give Him your Will and let Him lift you up into His arms to cleanse you with His Love.

It's The Same Light

Your Light, and especially the Light of those whom you dislike, cannot be extinguished. Is the sun always shining, even when there are dark storm clouds covering it? There may be someone you intensely dislike because they have mistreated you or because they are all ego, but the Light of God shines in them as brightly as it does for everyone else. They may be unaware of their Light, but through your Love and compassion, they can become aware of it. We are all One seeing the Christ in each other. This does not mean that you allow someone to treat you poorly, but it does mean that you rise above to see who they truly are behind the appearance and their actions or words.

Healing

You cannot help others unless you have worked on healing for yourself, and you can only help others to the extent that you have healed yourself. When you heal yourself, or rather when you allow God to heal you by dropping false beliefs, you become a clear vessel through which He can work through you. If you are full of yourself, instead of full of His Self, He cannot use you to bring healing to others.

Where God Is

God is not only present in your "positive" experences. He is present even in the midst of your greatest pain and sorrow. In fact, He experiences it with you so you won't be alone in that valley. This is the beauty and the holiness of God in form, of God expressing through you. Through your experiences, through your awakening, He comes to know Himself. How amazing and holy is that?

Is Judgment Powerful?

It is a false belief that judgment is powerful. Judgment shows weakness. When you judge, when you believe that you are "better" than an individual or group, you are not secure in who you truly are, which is a part of Him. For if you know that you are One with God, you will also know that everyone and everything is also One with Him, and thus One with you. Non judgment is powerful, because it acknowledges who you are. Out of non judgment arises great peace and joy, for these are inherent attributes of Oneness. These are the gifts of the Kingdom.

Certainty

What is certain? His Love is certain. Your divinity is certain. Your Oneness with Him and all that exists is certain. Everything else is an appearance that is temporary. Everything else passes away. Rejoice in what is certain and changeless, because your salvation was never in question. You were never separate from your Source.

Be Fanatical

The great saints and prophets of past and those who walk awakened today are fanatics. They are not fanatics about who is or who is not going to Heaven. They are not fanatics about being successful in a career, whether their favorite sports team wins, which party has political power, whether they look good. They are not fanatics about anything related to judgment of an individual, group, or nation, etc., for their view of Unity raises them above the limited perspective of judgment. But they are fanatical in their Love and compassion. They apply these equally to all, without regard to someone's looks, status, and past experiences, actions, and words. That is what Love does and IS. That is what God does and IS. That is what you are and what you are capable of. Be fanatical!

Be Still And Know ...

"Be still and know that I am God" does not mean you sit in meditation all day, although physically still periods are important. What it means is that even in the midst of a busy life, there is an undercurrent, a foundation of stillness that is always present. When you operate from that stillness, you are fully allowing God to express through you.

Expectations

You get angry at someone because they fail to fulfill your expectations. They fail to do what you expect them to do. What a burden that is on them, and on you. What if you lived with no expectations of how someone shoukd interact with or treat you? Do you think you look outside yourself to be fulfilled and when someone doesn't meet that, you get angry, but you are really angry at yourself for not fully loving yourself? If you had no expectations of anyone, wouldn't everything be a gift?

Although it will always be there, for it is your essence, don't take Love for granted. Enjoy every ounce of it. Become that which you already are. Put your self out there --- push through your fears and vulnerabilities and miracles will happen. Love is waiting on you. The Christ in you is waiting on you. Will you answer or will you shrink back into a false self that is a hellish covering of the beauty and Light that is waiting to be revealed?

True Power

Do you realize how incredibly powerful you are? But you can only know true power --- the power of God that is viewed through eyes of Unity and not the false power as the world sees it based on a belief in separation and having more than others --- you can only know true power if you bathe in the endless well of compassion that exists within you. When you do this, there is no judgment. True power equals non judgment equals Unity. Why would you ever need or want to judge or harm anything or anyone when it is all part of Him, a part of you?

The Tools For Healing

The tools for healing --- psychological, physical, mental, and spiritual --- are always there, always. If you feel that they are not there, either you have not asked for them, or you are refusing to see them. Drop the idea that it has to look a certain way. Healing can come in many forms, and God will provide the form that works best for you. But you have to open your eyes, be willing to see it, and BE Willing to do it.

Is God's Will All That Exists?

God's Will is all that exists, and we can only express His Will in our choices. But in this world of duality, we have the appearance of choice and the appearance that we can make choices which run counter to His Will. The "ability" to make choices which run against the Will of God is what gives the apparent contrast to what His Will really is, allowing recognition within us that His Will is all that exists. In other words, the appearance of duality allows us to know that Unity, His Will, God, is all that exists.

Moving closer to God is a journey of self interest. What makes you joyful is to spread His Love and His joy to others, to put a smile on someone's face, to make them laugh, to help them know how much He loves them. By following through on what gives you joy, you are doing His work.

Fear Is Not Real

God, who is Love, is the Cause and you are the Effect of His Love, being Love yourself. Fear is an effect which has no Cause, because only God and His Will exist. Anything without a Cause is not Real. So fear is only an appearance (false evidence appearing real) and is only upheld by the power of your belief. Withdraw the belief and the fear goes away.

Do You Not Believe ...?

Do you not believe that you can walk the world as a God realized individual like Jesus, the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, etc? Jesus told us we would do greater things than he did. To be in the world but not of it is how we are ALL meant to walk the world. You may think that you are not at the level of a God realized person, but this is a false belief --- it is your false beliefs that prevent you from recognizing the Truth of who you already are!

You identify with a "story" you think is you, but it is not who you truly are. It is similar to being a fox and thinking you are a bear. You attach to all of the emotions that arise in you, like anger or guilt because they are part of your story in which you believe so strongly. Anger arises in God realized individuals but it quickly passes through them and is given no energy or attachment because these individuals know that the thoughts/judgments/perceptions/beliefs behind their story are not real. These are from a temporary body in a dream that does not exist, similar to a play you watch on the stage. Don't identify with what is false, and you will be who you are.

It Is The Experience Of God

The Bible and many other great spiritual books can only be understood through experience, not thought. For you can only experience God, not "think" Him, as you are One with Him. As we grow closer in our remembrance with Him, we understand the teachings of those who went through a similar experience. Jesus spoke in parables so that it would take one who has experienced the path to understand the full meaning. Using thought and an ego mind to debate His words is like debating what type of car you should drive across the river when there is no bridge --- it has no meaning.

Anger and Fear

Anger is fear. When it arises in us, we can either be conscious that it is fear and originates with a false belief system, or we can be unconscious, and when we express the anger, we never know where it comes from and we think that it is the "surface" event or action that is in front us at that time. We can't begin to clear the anger until we are conscious about where it truly comes from, which sheds Light on a false belief system and begins to dissipate it.

Start With Compassion On Yourself

One of the ways in which you can discern God's Will for you in a situation or with a person is to remove judgment of that situation or person. You must use discernment, not judgment.

Discernment makes an evaluation while seeing the God within that situation or person. It gives you an unemotional, non judgmental, compassion based view from which you can make a decision. When you judge, you judge from an ego or non God perspective. How do you move into discernment versus judgment? You must first move into compassion. If you can't initially do that for the situation or person, do that for yourself. Have compassion on yourself as if you were in the other person's shoes, and then you will have compassion on them. It is also important to remember that you never have enough info, never have a large enough perspective, to judge a situation or another person's path. That is why you must leave all decisions up to God, and compassion allows you to move into that God space where he can give you the answers.

Give To Receive

This dream world of separation we appear to live in reinforces a false belief that we need to be hoarders and accumulaters, that there are limits to everything and we need to keep all we can. This is the false idea of sacrifice, that if you give away something, you have "lost" it.

The Native Americans used to have a ceremony where a member of the tribe would give away all of their possessions, because that person knew in doing so it would come back to them tenfold. This is how God's Kingdom works. It is one of Unity --- by giving, you are receiving, because you are giving to yourself. Now, I am not telling you to give away all of your possessions, but in terms of financial abundance, the more you tithe, KNOWING that God as Source is unlimited, the more you will receive. And this is especially important as you talk about compassion, forgiveness, kindness, and Love. The more you give these, the more you will have these appear in your life. We are not separate from anything. God created us as part of Himself.

Centered In God

Staying centered in God versus the ego is about your Will and what you set as your intention. It is also about doing what feels good to you. When you are centered in God and doing His Will, there is a lot of joy and peace present. Fear cannot enter. So simply following the peace and joy will keep you from straying off His center.

It Knows What It Is

Love has no need to attack. It knows what it is. Only fear attacks. Only fear judges. Only fear hates. If you do these things, you are not fear, but you believe you are fear or you would not do these things. You are Love, for only Love exists. God is Love, and God is One, which means that He is all that exists. Drop the false belief that you can be something you are not, and you will be what you are --- Love.

God Will Be As Present

God will be as present in your life as you allow Him to be. He is there now --- you are One with Him. There is no limit to the depth of Love you can feel from His Presence. You can't block His Presence; it can only appear that you block Him by your false beliefs about yourself and Him.
