No Past, No Future

What if you did not have a past? What if you did not have expectations about the future? Who would you be? How would you feel? Each of us has a different "past." It defines us, but it also limits us, as we see the world through the experiences we have had. So you may say that you cannot get away from your past. But your past is "gone" --- you have already gotten away from it. The only thing that remains from your past are the beliefs that were created from the experiences. The "future" has not happened yet, but you have expectations --- beliefs --- about what it will be like. Whether it is related to your past, or your future, you can drop those beliefs. There does not have to be anything that limits you. Just as He is unlimited, you are unlimited, for you are a part of Him. When you drop what limits you, you come to KNOW Him.

You Cannot Be Separate

It all started with the belief we are separate from God. From this belief arose self judgment and guilt, and you see this reflected in a world that is based on a projection of that self judgment. This world is based on judgment and blame of individuals, groups, and nations. And because we believe that we are separate from God, we have an intense longing for His Love that is so painful we try to medicate it with food, drugs and alcohol, money, career, sex, exercise --- man has devised many creative ways to unsuccessfully try and fill that longing.

But it all has one solution --- the release of the belief that you have ever been or could be separate from God. Everything you think, say, do, and experience is shared with Him, because we are One and you live and have your being in Him.

Be Consistent

If your thoughts are not consistent with your actions, the effects of your actions will be greatly reduced or eliminated, and you will have internal distress from this inconsistency. For instance, if you are kind to someone but you actually harbor ill will to them and judge them, not only are you not being authentic, but your kindness is totally negated. Work on the internal and the outer will manifest the same.

Your Beliefs

It is really simple. It's your belief system that blocks your recognition of God. So you say that you can't live without a belief system.

But what you don't realize is that your beliefs are your own. They are not universal, because they were created from your own experiences. Further, when you believe in a certain thing, you automatically don't believe in its counterpart. God is ALL. Thus you are setting up a system where you see separation, not the Unity that underlies all.

The stronger someone holds beliefs, the more separation they see in the world and themselves, the more fear they feel, etc. Your beliefs are perceptions you hold, not Truth. You have to rise above the belief system to know Truth. And yes, you can operate in this world above a belief system --- that's what Jesus did --- in this world but not of it.

You Are A Demonstrator

You are an example. You are a teacher, a demonstrator. You demonstrate and teach what you believe.

Not only are you an obvious example to someone like your children, you are an example to yourself. You reinforce what you believe through your demonstration. You demonstrate judgment or Unity. You demonstrate Love or illusion. You demonstrate Heaven or hell.

If you want to change your life, change what you believe, and you first do this through what you demonstrate and the example you set --- to others, for others, and especially for yourself. Each of us is a teacher to ourselves and others. If you can't yet believe it, fake it, in all of your interactions and words. You are not really faking it --- you are just finding what was always there but hidden. You are watering a seed that has been dormant for a long time.

As Is

Accept everything as is. This especially includes those times when you are not centered in God, when you have judgment of yourself and others. Why would you accept something you are trying to change? Because when you accept it, you are doing so from a non judgmental space, your true Self. Paradoxically, this brings you to the place you wanted to be.

Through Forgiveness

Nothing can be understood until it is first forgiven. This allows it to be seen through the eyes of God. Unforgiving thoughts lead to blame, judgment, greed, the appearance of evil, belief in separation. Forgiving thoughts lead to tolerance, respect, understanding, compassion, gratitude, joy, peace, and Love. Forgiving thoughts lead to Heaven.

The Body

The body can be used as a limit or wall to the other parts of God, or it can be used as a blessing. Of itself, the body is neutral, as it is directed by the ego (reinforce false belief in separation) or by a right Mind (Truth of Unity). If the body is used as a blessing, God expresses and works through you, using your hands, eyes, ears, and words to bless others with Love and joy, reigniting remembrance of Him and His Love. When bodies are used for this purpose, they melt away and Oneness is revealed.

Comparison

Comparison is a defense used by the ego to attempt (unsuccessfully) to cover its feelings of inferiority. When the world is seen through the ego, it is one of differences. There are those people who have "more" --- better looks, better education, more money, more intelligence, more spiritually evolved --- and there are those people who have "less." The ego makes itself feel better and more safe by comparing itself to those who have "less," which makes it feel superior. Of course, comparison is not of God because All is One and only in this world of duality do differences appear.

We All Have It In Common

Of course we are all human beings, which is a very important concept to ponder based on how people see and use differences against each other. But another concept I want you to consider is how we have all judged ourselves over things we have done or said, how we look, what we have achieved, etc. The ego is very creative in finding things to keep us in judgment.

Sometimes it is a mild judgment, like I wish I could do that over. Or other times it is much more severe like I should be punished for that or I wish I would die. Except for a handful of people walking the planet, we all exist in self judgment --- if someone is not aware of it, it is because they project it out as judgment on others and think the problem lies "outside" of them.

It is hard to look at our self judgment, but this is the only way we heal and come back to God in our remembrance. We must bring it into the Light where it is dissolved in Truth, for God does not know judgment.

Knowing that everyone carries self judgment --- all for reasons that only THEY see, so not universally held --- knowing this, can we extend compassion to others and especially to ourself? Can we offer ourself forgiveness? Do we not all deserve to be loved and forgiven, for this is ONLY how God see us and loves us? God does not see the sin you see in yourself.

How Do You Respond?

When someone is verbally "attacking" you, they are simultaneously providing you a gift, and they are calling for Love. The gift is to help you better see who you are by not reacting. When we come from a space of Love, we remember. Their anger comes from fear, and it is a call for Love. They are asking for your help, although it may be hard to see that.

Love dissolves all fear. If we respond to them from Love, it helps them to remember who they truly are, and the anger is dissipated. if we respond out of anger, that is our fear talking, and our fear reinforces their fear, leading them to believe that they are solely a body, separate from God.

The Simplest Of Gestures

You are not going to change the world by seeing it as real and trying to fix it. Because when you see it as real, you cannot help but come from fear in your actions. And as the world and its systems crumble, as the poverty, famine, wars, blame, control, and greed worsen, it is certain that your fear will also increase.

You can only change the world by seeing it through new eyes. And you can only do this by seeing yourself through new eyes. Work on yourself. Work to clear and release the blocks and false beliefs which prevent you from knowing your divinity and Unity with all that is.

When you see the world with new eyes, fear will no longer be your filter, and His kingdom will be revealed. Then you will know best how to help the world through your words or actions. Remember though that a smile or kind word to someone in need may be more powerful than a large donation to a charity. God is revealed in the simplest of gestures from the heart. In all things be led by Him in each moment and be without judgment as to the words or actions He directs you in.

All Things Are Possible

When we say that in God, all things are possible, it means, IN GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

What limitations do you place through your thoughts and beliefs? Do you think that something can't possibly happen --- that is just seems unlikely or the chances are not good? Nothing is of chance --- the concept does not exist in the Kingdom --- but you have just created limitation through this belief.

Jesus performed miracles because he knew there are no limitations. Now, someone might take the above and believe that they could win the lottery. And if they truly knew there were no limitations, they would win the lottery. But if you have the recognition and remembrance, the God and Oneness consciousness that Jesus held, you would not be asking to win the lottery. The ego asks for things of the world that it thinks benefits it, and because the ego was created out of a limited belief system, it asks from a space of limitation where the concept of all possibilities does not exist.

When you ask from your spirit in His name, you ask from all possibilities for things that expand creation and that benefit the Kingdom and the whole. And that is where your peace and joy lie, not in things of the world.

Witness Your Anger

Notice the next time you get angry. Do you become angry because it arises naturally or because you have a thought about a situation or person that makes you angry. The latter is not real. Thoughts cannot lead to true emotions. If a thought leads to anger, you might call this ego anger, because it is your ego and its strategies, its looking for grievances, that create this "anger" in you. You then BELIEVE you are angry, but you are really not. Watch this dynamic happening inside of you. Witness how and when your emotions are preceded and created by a thought.

When We Share ...

When we share, we drastically reduce the power of that which is not real. If we share our secrets and fears, we see that they are specific to us, not universally held. Illusion is only held together by the power of your belief, and through sharing, you take that belief away. Only that which is Real can be shared. God created you by sharing Himself, and Creation expands by the sharing of Love and unity, as well as the sharing of yourself with your creations created out of Love.

Accept

Accept who you are in this moment. Accept who you are in the next moment, for you are constantly changing, constantly being renewed in mind, body, and spirit. By accepting the "new" you in each moment, you are affirming the Real you that is behind all appearances. Accept as God accepts --- unconditionally.

Only Through An Open Heart

When we talk about coming from an open heart, how can we do that and stay there?

First, visualize your heart opening like a flower that is announcing itself to the world and giving a blessing of its beauty and Love to every person that encounters it. This is what you give to the world and everyone who comes into contact with you when you come from an open heart.

Coming from an open heart means that you acknowledge and express the Unity and divinity that runs through ALL. It is based on respect, non judgment, and compassion. It does not mean that you are not hurt at times by others, but these are manna, are opportunities for you to stay heart centered, to grow from these so that your flower can unfold even further, increasing the blessing that you can provide the world and the next person you encounter.

It takes a warrior to live from an open heart when you are hurt, when you want to judge and attack back, to go back into your protective shell which you falsely believe keeps you safe. We are only safe in Him, and you can only know Him by living from an open heart. When the hurt arises, you cannot allow it to turn into a trail of false judgment and recrimination thoughts that justify your closing of your heart. you must immediately go to forgiveness. Only through forgiveness can you heal that person, the world, and most importantly, yourself, because as you forgive others, you forgive yourself.

Animals Are A Reflection ...

How we treat our animals, individually and collectively as a society, is a reflection of what we feel about ourselves. Do we mistreat them? Do we honor them if we have killed them for meat? Do we hurt or kill them for pleasure? For if we cannot see God reflected in the innocence, purity, and pure love of our animals, how can we begin to see Him in ourselves and our fellow human beings? Animals are messengers to you, both your pets and those in the wild. There is much to learn from the reflection they offer.

Don't Be A Hermit

You cannot create a remembrance of God by living a sheltered life devoid of people. Sure, there are those times when you need to go into the silence for a day or even a week or longer, but generally you have to be floating on the River of Life and all that it brings you.

This includes unlimited opportunities for you to grow in your remembrance of God, and some of those best opportunities are the interactions you have with others. Because we can get mad at them, or they can hurt us, right? We can see the devil in another person or group, or we can see God. Obviously, we are here to see God in them, and by doing so we see God in ourselves. Only by putting yourself out there and being willing to embrace the growth opportunities that come from interacting in the world can you do what you came here to do for yourself and the world.

If You Want To Change ...

If you want to change your circumstances in life, start by changing how you see those circumstances. It is a matter of perception. Are you attached to the world and what happens in it --- do you believe this world is real, all that is? Or do you believe in God's Kingdom? You can't believe in both at the same time.

If you believe this world is real, you will live in fear because you believe that everything happens randomly, so you have no control over any circumstances in your life. If you believe in God's Kingdom, you know you have the power of the One --- the same power Jesus exhibited --- to create. You are a Cocreator with God. This does not mean that some things don't happen outside of your control like wars or environmental poisoning, but you can manifest a great amount in your life according to your wishes. Much of this depends on how much you have dropped false beliefs about yourself and God which enables you to know the power inside of you.

Be Who You Are

Sounds very simple, right? But most of us create and believe in a false identity that we try to uphold through whatever means, even if it kills us. We are scared of being who we are, because we are scared of God and His punishment.

When we stop trying to be something we are not, there is a huge release that comes from that. Life slows down, you slow down, and the present moment reveals itself. Initially, you are very tired, because it took a large amount of energy to be something other than your true self. But you realize that you cannot not be something other than you are, which is His holy Child and eternally One with Him. Only through this recognition, not anything the world can give you, can you have the peace and joy of the Kingdom.

What Is Your Source?

Money is not your Savior, nor is it the root of all evil, but the vast majority of people in Western society treat it one of these ways. It is a vehicle through which God can bless you, amongst many vehicles. But in order for Him to do this, you can't put it before Him --- you can't make it your God. Nor can you fear it as if it will run out. When you do this, it does run out, because you have created a belief around lack.

Each of us is a powerful manifestor, and what we believe, we create. Remember your Source --- He is your Source, not the vehicles --- the money, the job, the investments --- He blesses you through. The vehicles can and will change, and if you become attached to them and see them as your Source, you may suffer unpleasant consequences.

A Light Body

What is the difference between our life span today and those in the Bible who lived to be many hundreds of years old? Why were they able to do that? They did not have medical care. One could say that they did not have all the toxicity in the environment, which is true, but look at the toxicity in our thoughts.

We have turned our face away from God, away from His health. There is perfection in the body of God, and because we are One with Him, we share that perfection. Our physical bodies do not have to decay. They decay because we BELIEVE they can decay, and there is a huge industry built around that decay, supporting this false belief. This is another leg on the stool of belief that we are separate from Him. We are spirit manifesting temporarily in a body. If you are fully aligned in spirit with Him, if you have dropped all false beliefs, your physical body will radiate that and be the same Light body that Jesus carried.

You Are The Constant

What you are being asked to see is that everything around you is changing while you are the Changeless. You are the constant, the non changing entity. It may appear that you change along with everything else, but you are the constant, you are the Divine. You are a deep lake which has a surface constantly changing, but at the bottom of the lake is pure stillness. You are that stillness, that changelessness.

Release It

That which you fear and give power to --- your hatred, fear, anger, shame, and guilt --- becomes stronger simply by your belief in them. A belief can't be released until it is recognized. You are One with God. These things you believe in --- fear, guilt, etc --- do not exist because they do not exist in Him. Think on that for a minute. You can only be pure innocence and Love. Have you fooled yourself? Yes (you and the vast majority of the world), but that doesn't mean you can't drop those beliefs in a second and be who you really are. We can't be anything other than who we really are, but we can sure fool ourselves into believing that we are not. That is one definition for hell.

Be "Pro"active

Be "pro"active, not "re"active. When you are reactive, you are "re"acting. You are coming from an old pattern of behavior as "re" means before. Create a different way of dealing with a challenging situation by giving it to God and by asking His help in coming from a space of Love. This is being proactive --- you are making a choice to do it differently. "Pro" means for something, not against. God is All, so instead of reacting the same way and being against anything of Him, be for something, be for Him as you choose to do it a different way.

Suffering

Suffering on this journey is not mandatory. In fact, it is as far away from God as you can go. Who in their right mind would want to suffer? And who would believe that a God, who is Love, would want suffering for you?

We suffer because we resist those experiences that are brought to us, by our request and Will, to show us who we truly are. We are Love. Does it make any sense that we have to undertake a journey of suffering to reach that recognition of Love? Most of us do suffer, because we resist dropping those false beliefs we have about ourselves. When you try to stay in one place and you resist where it wants to take you, the River of Life bashes you (suffering) against the rocks. But make no mistake. Suffering is by our choice, not some punishment that God has decreed we must pass through to "earn" our divinity. We are divine and One with Him simply through our Creation as His Beloved.

Your Ministry

Your ministry can be anything from speaking on a pulpit, to feeding the homeless, to a kind word to a friend having a hard day, to a smile for a stranger, to raising a child. No ministry is better than another. All are necessary to complete the whole.

Judgment By Others

Someone else's judgment of you only bothers you because there is a part of you that believes it could be true. When you judge yourself, you are not sure of who you are. When you drop the judgment of yourself, judgment by others will have no effect on you. And you will also no longer judge others, because you will no longer be projecting out your self judgment.

Out Of Love

We were created by Him, from Him, out of Love. So that this Love relationship is authentic and given freely from us to Him, we were given free Will to love Him or reject Him. Parts of the One have rejected Him, but this is a process of coming back in our recognition to that which we never left. As we desire to align our Will with His, as we see that only His Will exists, we come back in our recognition and remembrance, as Jesus did. In the end all parts of the One will return for the call of Love is greater than anything else. Only Love exists.
