Withholding Forgiveness

If you knew the price you pay for withholding forgiveness, you would dedicate your life to offering forgiveness in every situation and to every person.

You may believe that withholding forgiveness keeps you safe. You may believe that it punishes the other person for their "sins." But all it does is punish you. You are withholding and cutting off your peace and joy, not that of the other person.

Yes, there may be anger and pain involved with forgiveness, but is there a healing process involved with a prisoner who has been freed after many years of captivity and who has been greatly affected physically and emotionally? You are your own jailer --- you created the prison cell and put yourself in it. God did not do this to you, nor did the other person.

You choose how you want to live life, how you want to see others, how joyful and peaceful you are. You choose whether you see through the eyes of the ego mind, which looks for grievances in every situation, or whether you see through the eyes of God and Unity, which looks for Love in every situation and realizes that this world and all of its "happenings" is not real.

Do not blame God or others for your situation. This is acting like a victim. Take responsibility and acknowledge who you are as a Son or Daughter of God.

It Is Simple

It's really this simple. Stop doing what doesn't work. Stop doing what doesn't bring you true joy and peace, what doesn't bring you physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual vitality and wellbeing.

If you are not certain what that is, then ask --- God will show you. But then you have to follow what He shows you. If you are not willing to do that, then don't complain about your life not working.

You are not a victim --- you are responsible for everything that happens in your life, even if it is something out of your control, like what those in control do to you. In every situation you can act as a warrior, not a victim.

Are You Paralyzed By Fear?

Romans 13:11-12 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. It is time for you to awaken from this dream. For when you are in a dream, and you don't realize that you are the dreamer of the dream and can change it, you have fear. And there is great fear in the world because people do not realize they are in a dream.

Do you think this world, the people, the events, the wars, the hatred is real? Do you think that a God, who is Love, could create such a world? Will you still believe that you are in darkness, in the night, or do you see the new dawn that is coming? Awaken from your dream, for if you don't you will eventually become paralyzed by fear.

Whether you are feeling weary, excited, scared, joyful, or guilty, God is with you through All. Consciousness never sleeps and never stops the expression of Love. The True Meaning Of The Cross

In Aramaic, the language that Jesus spoke, "sin" means error, not something permanent. To "repent" means to turn 180 degrees, to look at something from a completely different perspective.

Jesus came not to "take away" our sins, but to show us that they do not exist in the way we think and have been taught --- which is a way of taking them away. He came not to cross out sin but rather to cross out the belief in sin.

God looks at us only with Love, for we are a part of Him, as Oneness and Unity are all that exist. Why would God judge or punish a part of Himself/Herself? The belief that we are separate and God will judge and punish us, the belief in "sin," comes from a belief that we are separate from our Creator and everything else. But this is false, and when we see with eyes of Unity, we know that God only wants us to see our errors, see our wrong mind thinking (thinking with the ego mind versus the Mind of God), and turn away (repent) from this wrong thinking so that we can be in a Love relationship with Him. This is why we were created. So Jesus was the first to fully come back to a recognition of His Oneness, and he showed us the way and said we would do greater things than him. He raised the dead. Do we take him at his word and recognize how holy we are?

The cross also represents the merging of the Divine (vertical) with humanity (horizontal), the merging of Heaven and Earth. Again, Jesus was the first to fully do this, but he is certainly not the last as we are all on that path. There is one Son/Daughter/Child of God, and that is each of us. We are all part of that Sonship.

Remember, there is no separation. God created One Son/Daughter from a part of Himself/Herself so that He/She could have an experience of Himself/Herself as Love. And Christ means Love, so we all come back to our Creator through Love. Jesus was the first to fully recognize his divinity and Unity with and as that Love. So when we say that we can only come back to the Father through Jesus Christ, we should clarify it to say we only come back to Him through Love, and as Jesus the human being became that Love --- as we walk the same path --- then we can understand that path through communion with Jesus and looking to him as an elder brother who can show us the way.

But any path that is based in Love can take you there. It is your heart that gets you there, not your intellect and a rigid belief system, not a set of spiritual practices, what you wear, how often you pray or meditate. We can't think God and Unity --- we must feel and experience Him, and we do that through an open heart bursting with Love and compassion, non judgment, non attachment, and gratitude.

Finally, the Cross represents the "binding" of our Will to God. As we give our Will over to Him, we want to be bound so that we are not struggling or resisting when His Will is done. This is an act of "obedience," but obedience is not how the world thinks of it. When we love God with all of our heart and being and we desire only to do His Will, then we are obedient. And we desire only to be purged of everything that is not of God. When we desire it and give our Will to Him, Love is a fire that destroys and leaves nothing in its trace, except God. And that is the meaning of being born again.

You Are Being Loved, Not Punished

We are on a spiritual journey AND we are at our destination. For we have never left the holy moment of our creation. Time and space are an illusion in this dream. Science has proven this.

God created us out of Love, and we are in this moment eternally. This can never change! But "we fell from Grace." We believed that we had sinned against God and we believed we had induced a state of separation.

Separation is impossible as only Unity exists --- God is One, God is All, and YOU are part of that Unity. This "journey" is not a real journey. It is simply a remembering.

This "reality" here on Earth is just a learning ground, a kind of school. We are being shown --- God is speaking to us through every source imaginable in each moment --- of His Love and who we truly are. Start witnessing all the ways God is helping you remember --- people, experiences, dreams, etc.

When you have "hard" times, you are not being punished. You are being Loved! It is your resistance --- your holding on to unhealthy beliefs and patterns --- which creates suffering. As we release false beliefs, we remember and recognize that we are Divine. And then we know that we have all the gifts of the Kingdom ---- abundance, peace, joy, and Love.

What Do Your Eyes Truly See?

The eyes do not see something and the mind interprets it. Your mind, which has a specific belief system, tells the eyes what to look for, and then when the eyes bring this, the mind uses this to confirm its belief system. This is like a dog chasing its own tail.

Since separation is the individual and mass consciousness belief, our eyes see a separation that does not truly exist --- separate bodies, separate minds, separation from nature. The result of this belief system is fear.

When we move to a Oneness based knowing (not belief), Love is the result. Our eyes see past appearances to the Love that is inherent in All, because our mind now looks for Oneness instead of separation, as it longs to return to Him. It looks for Him in All.

Freedom And The Role You Play

If you want to be known by the world for something --- a great lawyer, a spiritual authority, a great chef, even the negative --- a victim --- if you want to have that label, you are not free.

If you are an actor in a play, and there is a murder in the play, do you call the actual police to come and arrest the murderer? Of course not, because you know that you are in a play. The play is fun, and you play your role AS IF it were real, but you know it is not.

The play is our life here in this reality, and the sooner you can recognize that it is a play, that it is just a learning ground for you to remember, the sooner you can save yourself a lot of angst and suffering. For the experiences will keep coming --- it is whether you flow in ease with them because you have a high perspective, or whether you fight the flow in the River of Life. If you fight the flow and don't know and trust that what is brought to you is by your choice and for your highest good, then you will not flow effortlessly with the natural flow and you will be smashed against the rocks in the River.

You don't have to be smashed against the rocks --- God does not want that for you. He wants joy and ease for you as you remember your divinity and His deep Love for you.

Freedom comes from knowing our Oneness with God, knowing that we play roles in this false world ONLY so that we can remember that Oneness.

There But For The Grace ...

When you are without belief, the only Truth you know is God. For we can only know God, not believe in Him, for you know something you are One with. Belief requires separation --- a believer and something separate to believe in. If you want to know God, release belief. And there will be Grace.

Compassion

Compassion is the foundation of Love. Since God is Love, we must first start with compassion to bring His Kingdom into reality.

This is a time when fear and self judgment are being brought to the surface within each of us to be transmuted and healed. How will you react? Will you take responsibility and face like it a warrior, or will you try to run from it by projecting blame on to others. Only when you look at your fear and self judgment with great compassion can you then look at another person with the same compassion, not judging or condemning them for their actions or path.

Compassion always starts with yourself and then can be projected outward, but you know if you are not being compassionate on yourself if you are having harsh judgments on others. Pull that projection in and feel the self judgment and fear.

We try to hide parts of ourselves that we don't like or want to feel from both ourselves and from God, as if He will punish us if He saw what was in there. But God is IN THERE expressing through us. He already sees us as His perfect and holy Creation, regardless of what we believe to be true. When we try to suppress what is coming up to be healed, when we try to keep it in a dark corner of our psyche, it only gives it more power and control over you. It is like a virus running underneath the surface of a computer that skews everything.

And because science has proven that everything is frequency and we are energetic beings, suppressing these false beliefs will greatly affect your health, your mental state, your relationships --- all areas of your life. Holding on to false beliefs will metaphorically and literally kill you.

So ask to be shown what needs to be transmuted and healed, for you and the world. And be WILLING to do what it takes to do that, as that is a different path for each of us. God will completely lead you IF you allow Him.

Can you say that you come from compassion in how you see others, events in the world, etc? If not, how can that recognition show you what it is you are resisting?

The Christ In You

When you are asked to do something, your ego sees it as being imposed upon or doing it because you have to, maybe as a tradeoff to stay in someone's good graces. It is thinking purely of itself.

The Christ in you, the Real you, thinks nothing of itself. Its joy arises from giving to others, selflessly, wholly, and unconditionally.

The next time someone close to you asks you to do something, what do you initially feel and think? Do you feel put out or inconvenienced, or do you feel immediate joy around doing this?

It doesn't matter what anyone thinks of you. It only matters what God thinks of you and what you think of yourself.

And I can tell you that God thinks you are the most amazing part of Him and that He loves you beyond all measure of what you can comprehend. So all you have to do is take care of what you think about yourself.

What Is The Difference?

What is the difference between these two statements? " I see the world as it is" and "The world is as I see it."

How we view individual situations and the world is a reflection of how we view ourselves. All is One. There is nothing "external" to you. If you view things "negatively" then you have negative beliefs about yourself, and those are the colored glasses through which you see the world (which is you). So you are living as "The world is as I see it."

Your task is to see the world as it is, which is how God sees it. To see the Kingdom. Then you can see past appearances to the Love that underlies all, and you can experience that Love, peace, and joy.

Be A Warrior, Not A Victim

When someone acts like a victim, that is the most powerless thing they can do. They believe that this is powerful, because they believe that this will bring them attention and pity. But that is a very sad way to live life.

Power comes from knowing who you are --- One with God and all that is. This is where your safety lies, where all of your "problems" are seen in a different light, where you have no fear.

For we are not of this world. We are in it, but not of it. When you recognize this, you can be who you came here to be. You can use the gifts God gave you to help the world. You play a role, but that is not your identity. You are Divine and holy, created by God as an extension of Himself, Herself, and this is where all power comes from. When you don't recognize your true identity, you will always feel inadequate, feel fear, feel like someone or something is trying to get you.

Everything of this world will pass away as it is only here as a vehicle to help us learn, awaken, and remember. If you try to make your identity in something that is false, you will always be existing on a foundation of shifting sand, and this is very unstable.

Your foundation is God, which is eternal, changeless, and provides complete stability. Don't give your power, the power given to you as part of the Kingdom, away to others, groups, governments, etc.

Be a warrior, not a victim. A warrior understands their power and uses it wisely to benefit the whole. A warrior takes responsibility for their thoughts and actions as it relates to being part of the whole, how we all impact each other. A warrior is gentle and compassionate. They have no need to demean another person or boast about their accomplishments for they know who they are, that they already have everything in them they will ever need to be complete and whole.

Your Only "Problem"

You have only one "problem." You believe that you are separate from God. If you correct this one illusion, all of your other problems go away.

Well, they don't go away in that they magically disappear, but they go away in that you see them in a different light. When you see something in a different light, you have created the opening for it to change.

For instance, if you worry constantly about not having enough money, you are giving power to that. You are affirming to God and the Universe that you DON'T have enough money so you get more of that. This is how powerful your thought is.

But if you KNOW that God only has your highest good, that you are not being punished, that you God wants to give you the Kingdom which includes full abundance --- financial, health, joy, peace, Love --- then you can be at peace with your current situation and know that it will change if you maintain that knowing.

As soon as you go to that knowing, God is putting things in place to change your situation. Seeds under the ground have sprouted and will manifest at some point. The problem is that most people lose faith when they don't see it change immediately and they are no longer watering the seeds.

Know what your one "problem" is and know that separation is not Truth. Even if you don't fully believe it yet --- we are all working towards that --- you have given God what He needs to create miracles in your life.

Presence

Into His Presence do we enter. In His Presence do we have our very Being. His Presence is all that exists, because He is All that exists. So you are not separate from that Presence.

Even if the surface of the lake is turbulent with wind whipped waves, the bottom of the lake is perfectly still. This is Presence. You have perfect stillness and holiness that is within you, regardless of your outer circumstances, problems, experiences, etc.

Have you ever been fully still, been fully in the moment without your thoughts being in the past or future, and felt the Presence that is in that moment? Have you ever marveled and cried at the way a snowflake dances down from the sky in pure joy. It is experiencing pure joy, because it is unique amongst all snowflakes, unique amongst Creation, a unique expression of God .... as are you. You are not separate from the snowflake, the tree, the clouds, anyone or anything. This realization --- that you cannot be separate from Presence --- is what gives you the greatest joy, peace, and safety.

Those who laugh at themselves and their circumstances, those who stay in the moment, those who are innocent like a child -- and Jesus said you must be like a child to enter the Kingdom of Heaven --- they have found the thread of Presence. This "reality" is just a dream, a learning ground for you, and for you to help others, to discover Presence. It has no other purpose other than that, and when you assign it another purpose, you are missing the inheritance God wants to give you.

How Do You Create?

Do you create consciously or unconsciously?

Most people create unconsciously. They don't know how they create the soup, but they are using most, if not all of the elements, to create the soup. So even if they are not spiritually oriented and don't recognize their Oneness with God, they still use their power as a Co-creator with God to manifest what they want. The ingredients in the soup mix are intention, persistence, joy, and gratitude.

Just because someone uses their creative power to manifest, this doesn't mean they are using it for something that is beneficial for the whole. And there are many people who understand their creative power and use it to benefit themselves, or to create "evil", in the world.

What if we understood our creative power and used it to benefit the whole? This is what Jesus did. He said we would do greater things than him. But you have a choice, once you recognize how powerful you are, to use that power for good or evil. True service is done without regard to yourself --- it is done for the whole in the way God directs you. And why should you do this? Because this is what Love does, and Love is your true nature. When you become what you are, when you fulfill the role God gave to you to bring yourself and others to Heaven, you have immense joy and a peace that passes understanding.

This is what you want to strive for. This is why you are here on this Earth at this momentous time.

Is Judgment Powerful?

It is a false belief that judgment is powerful. Judgment shows weakness. When you judge, when you believe that you are "better" than an individual or group, you are not secure in who you truly are, which is a part of Him.

For if you know that you are One with God, you will also know that everyone and everything is also One with Him, and thus One with you.

Non judgment is powerful, because it acknowledges who you are. Out of non judgment arises great peace and joy, for these are inherent attributes of Oneness. These are the gifts of the Kingdom.

Suffering Is Not God's Will For You

Suffering on this journey is not mandatory. In fact, it is as far away from God as you can go. Who in their "right mind" --- this being the Mind we share with God and not our false ego mind that most people operate from --- would want to suffer? And who would believe that a God, who is Love, would want suffering for you?

We suffer because we resist those experiences that are brought to us, by our request and Will, to show us who we truly are. We are Love. Does it make any sense that we have to undertake a journey of suffering to reach that recognition of Love?

Most of us do suffer, because we resist dropping those false beliefs we have about ourselves. When you try to stay in one place and you resist where it wants to take you, the River of Life bashes you (suffering) against the rocks.

But make no mistake. Suffering is by our choice, not some punishment that God has decreed we must pass through to "earn" our divinity and His Grace. We are Divine and One with Him simply through our Creation. This is eternal and unalterable, regardless of how "sinful" we believe we are, regardless of the false beliefs we hold about God being judgmental and punishing.

Do You Crucify Yourself?

You are continually given opportunities to forgive both yourself and others. This is how we grow and release false beliefs, which brings us closer to God in our remembrance.

Why do we continue to judge and crucify? What we see as a sin is only a correctable error when the light of God's forgiveness is able to wash over it. Do you realize that by refusing to choose to see it this way, you are condemning --- even if it is someone else you are crucifying --- you are condemning yourself to your own personal hell? You are your own jailer.

Jesus forgave his crucifiers, because he knew that their true selves were not aware of what they were doing. Love looks past. He saw past their body, past their actions, past their words of hatred, to the God within. They could not see their own divinity, but he could, and this allowed him to forgive them. You must look past your actions and words, look past your belief that you have sinned, and apply that same forgiveness to yourself.
