Where You Live

You live in the heart of God. This is your sanctuary, your peace, and above all, your Love.

Do you know that the human heart puts out a much larger electromagnetic field than the brain? Our heart is the center of our thinking, the center of our Being --- not the ego mind contained in a brain. We have lost that knowledge, that realization.

Only through a filter of Love and compassion is how we are meant to operate and think. Only through Love is how God "thinks", because Love is THE only force in Creation. Love is ALL.

God resides everywhere and in everything, but you can access Him most easily through your heart. You heart can never lie to you, lead you down the wrong path.

When we live from an open heart, we live and have our Being in God.

What Did Jesus Say?

Don't argue for your limitations.

It sounds easy and logical, right? But people do it all the time. They believe they are only capable of certain things. They believe God will only bless them to a limited extent --- they place God in a box.

You are Divine --- you are One with God, and that means no limits on anything. Did Jesus not raise the dead and say that we would do greater things than Him?

Surrender Everything

How often do you say you are going to surrender something to God but then retain control of it?

Do you still worry about it when it crosses your mind? Do you still envision outcomes? Do you still talk to others about it? Then you haven't truly let go, and you cannot blame Him for not taking care of it when you didn't really give it to Him.

When you have truly given something to Him, you have a great peace around it and you don't have any expectations as to the outcome as you know He always has your highest good. And you probably don't know what your highest good looks like --- that is why you need to surrender everything.

Comparison

Comparison serves no purpose except to keep you feeling separate from God. There will always be someone smarter than you, better looking than you, richer, more accomplished, more spiritual, younger than you. But these are all appearances. When you compare, you place your faith in what is false. In God, comparisons become meaningless, for we are One. Oneness means no differences --- there is nothing to compare. It is all God. Is one love better than another love? There is just one Love, and you are a part of that Love.

Give And Let Go

When you are given guidance to help someone, after you have given it, let go of any expectations. You have done what God has asked you to do.

Whether that guidance is incorporated by the other person is not up to you, and there is such a large picture at play, that you would not know when and to what degree the guidance was used.

We are only vessels through which He acts, and He can only use us to the degree that we get out of the way. That means giving our life to Him and also trusting Him with the lives of those we love.

God Sometimes?

If you are reading this, you likely believe that God, or some creative force, is at work in your life. But you may believe that this only happens sometimes. This is a belief that is a byproduct of the belief that we are separate from God and the He bestows favors or blessings on us as a benevolent Father.

Is partial randomness possible? Can someone be partially pregnant? Partial randomness is not possible, because everything is either completely random, or everything is not. So a belief that God is working in your life at times and not at other times is false.

Everything that happens in and around you is part of the body of God, for that is ALL that exists. It is not random because everything that happens is by choice --- collective or individual. Something may happen to you that you don't like as you may experience a robbery or be exposed to environmental toxins which affect your health, but these things happen through someone's choices. Thus it is not random.

So if nothing is random, and you believe God has your highest good, everything that happens in and around you, even the most minor of encounters, can be seen as part of your evolution, your remembrance, of who you are as Spirit.

And you can know that only joy and peace and Love will be the results of this remembrance. Even if something happens that you consider "random" and "bad," when viewed in the proper perspective, a blessing can come out of it. God uses everything for manna.

Why You Self Judge

Do you notice if you self judge or hate yourself when you don't live up to the expectations or standards you have for yourself?

Where do these standards come from? They were formed somewhere --- they just didn't pop in your being out of thin air. You have accumulated these standards through your experiences and through what others and society have told you, either directly or implied.

What would you be if you dropped these standards that are unique to you alone? Can you even live up to the standards you have for yourself, or is it like a gerbil on an exercise wheel, always spinning but going nowhere? Have you purposefully set your standards so high that you cannot reach them as a way of always failing and then condemning yourself?

Where Are You Looking?

Why do the vast majority look outside themselves for who they are?

They look to their education, their job, their spouse, their financial wealth, their body, their sexual prowess, etc.Some even look to "negative" identities like seeing themselves as a victim.

It takes courage to look inside, because we believe that what we will find is heinous an sinful. Many people believe intellectually that God is within, but this belief does not match up to their experience.

Intellectually they may believe that God is loving and nonjudgmental, but the willingness to go inside and discover this is not there.

For it takes willingness to wade through the false beliefs you have about your sinfulness. It takes courage to bring up, feel, and release the grief and anger from your past, especially your childhood. Only by doing this can you see who you are --- inherently --- not what your parents or society told you that you are. Only by doing this can you come to see the Love that you are, and as you do this, simultaneously you see the Love that God is.

And then He is there, within you, not intellectually, but for Real.

Always Is God's Love

Always is God's Love. God's Love is always.

When you are depressed, His Love is always. When you are joyful, His Love is always. When you are in the midst of tragedy or in a great celebration, always is His Love.

Your situation or experiences do not alter the fact that His Love is always. Love is always there, regardless of your situation or experiences. Situations and experiences are temporary --- they change constantly. But what never changes is His Love.

Absence of change equals His Love equals eternal. Heaven and earth shall fade away, but His Love will remain.

When You Drop What Limits You ...

What if you did not have a past? What if you did not have expectations about the future? Who would you be? How would you feel?

Each of us has a different "past." It defines us, but it also limits us, as we see the world through the experiences we have had.

So you may say that you cannot get away from your past. But your past is "gone" --- you have already gotten away from it. The only thing that remains from your past are the beliefs that were created from the experiences.

The "future" has not happened yet, but you have expectations --- beliefs --- about what it will be like. Whether it is related to your past, or your future, you can drop those beliefs. There does not have to be anything that limits you.

Just as He is unlimited, you are unlimited, for you are a part of Him. When you drop what limits you, you come to KNOW Him.

Compassion Versus Judgment

Where there is compassion, there is no judgment. Where there is self compassion, there is no self judgment.

Compassion is gentle. Judgment is harsh. Compassion eliminates the need for you to understand or have questions answered regarding a situation, an experience, yours or another person's actions, etc. Compassion gives its own answers, seeing past the false, seeing past the appearance or outer action, to the God within everyone and everything.

If you truly want to know God's Will for you in a situation or with another person, apply compassion to that situation or to that person.

Why is compassion so important --- because this is where your peace and joy lie. You will never find them through judgment.

Existence Is A Paradox

The paradox is that your shadow parts --- those parts you consider evil and hate --- can't be transformed until you recognize them at a conscious level.

You are whole, complete, filled with the one Light of God, so these shadow parts don't really exist, but as long as you suppress them, they exist through your belief.

You think that by pushing them into a dark corner of your psyche, they are taken care of and have gone away, but the paradox is that they "won't go away" until you recognize your belief in them by bringing that belief to the surface.

Also, because we are One, we are subject to all of the "negative" and evil that exists in the collective consciousness. So we will have "negative" thoughts such as anger, greed, need for punishment, etc. We need to have compassion on ourselves and let these pass through us, not entraining with them or condemning ourselves for having them.

A paradox is two seeming opposites existing at the same time. The way "out of" the paradox is to accept it as it is --- this is the acceptance of All, as God is All. Unit has no exceptions, no breaks. Everything is contained within Unity.

Sacrifice Or Love?

Attack comes from the belief you can be treated unfairly. If you believe you can be treated unfairly, you also believe you can be treated fairly at times.

Who is the arbiter of what is fair and not fair? What you see is fair will be completely different than the next person --- thus there is no absolute. There is no absolute, because what is fair is an ego based system of classification, one where someone always gains and someone always loses --- a belief in sacrifice.

The ego believes that sacrifice is real. Unity shows us that sacrifice does not exist, that what is given to another is given to yourself because we are One. What you give comes back to you exponentially.

That is why it is so important to give Love. When you give Love, it does not deplete the Love you have to give. It increases it because by giving it, you affirm that you have it to give, and you give it to yourself.

Labels Lead To False Vision

We live in a world of differences. Rather, we live in a world with the appearance of differences.

Our eyes automatically categorize and label everything we see. We don't do that according to some concrete "reality" of what exists. We do it according to our belief system, to our conditioning, and what we WANT to see that will reinforce what we believe. Consciously or unconsciously (this the vast majority), we put out there what we are looking for, and this is what is brought to us -- that is the creative power we have as One with God. 

So we each live in our own "reality" based on this belief system, and this can and does change as our beliefs change --- and they change every moment. Can anything this unstable be of God?

Science has proven that only one undifferentiated but unified energy field, one Consciousness, exists. This is what is meant by God is One. So the differences we see are only an appearance.

Unfortunately, the vast majority believe in these differences and use them for comparison. In many cases they are used to justify hate, judgment, projection, punishment, greed. Witness how with almost every thought you are classifying, judging, comparing.

Instead, why don't we all see each other as ice cream :)
You are vanilla and another person is chocolate. Another is Tutti Frutti. Would you condemn someone because they like Tutti Frutti? Would you say they are not as good a person than someone who likes chocolate?

Appreciate the differences ... WHILE recognizing that we are One. It goes much farther than all of us being human, although this is important. We are all Spirit. God expresses through each of us the same. He/She loves each of us the same. He does not judge any of us because He would be judging Himself --- how insane is that? He/She is having an experience of Himself/Herself, as Love, through and as us.

So your judgments, your labels, your classifications, don't really make sense in the way that you make them try to be something they are not. They are not real. Only Unity is Real. Your eyes will continue to see differences, but your heart will "see" the Truth of that other person. And when you are able to do that, then you can see the Truth about your Self.

How Holy You Are

It is not a matter of how holy you are. Your holiness is determined through your Oneness with God. This is indisputable --- you are holy beyond anything you can imagine.

It is how much you recognize your holiness which determines your experience and what you manifest in this Earth reality. As Jesus said, you can move mountains and do greater things than him. Do you not take him at his word? Now do you have at least a faint idea of your holiness?

Who you THINK you are -- a body with a thinking and logical mind --- and who you REALLY are --- these are quite different. Thank goodness.

We All Make Mistakes

We all make mistakes .... but the question is what do you do with them.

Do you learn from them so as not to repeat them. Do you self judge or have compassion on yourself? Do you say you are sorry if someone else is involved? What can you learn about yourself from taking an authentic and non defensive appraisal of what happened?

If we don't learn from our mistakes, we are not growing. God does not ask us to not make mistakes, as sometimes going down the wrong path is how we learn what the right path is --- we learn through contrast. But He/She does want us to learn from our mistakes so that we can grow closer to Him. For this is why we are here having these grand experiences in this unique reality. We are here to experience ourselves as Love.

So your mistakes are not permanent. They are not "sins" but rather errors that lead you to a greater understanding when you let down your defenses, see your conditioning and false beliefs, and have willingness to let go of the false. This is the perspective and attitude you should strive to hold in everything you do, in all of your relationships. It is a holy attitude.

What If You Had No Self Judgment?

If you had no self judgment, you would be Divine. Actually, you are already Divine -- this cannot change! But you would feel your Divinity, feel God's Presence within you, to the state where it brings you to tears of gratitude.

This is where you are headed! This is your inheritance. Jesus said you would do greater things than him. Do you not take him at his word? He raised the dead and fed everyone gathered from one fish. Wow, what does that mean you are capable of doing?

You will do greater things because you are as holy as him and he showed us the way. He showed us that when we do not believe ourselves to be sinful --- which is having no self judgment and allowing God to fully work through us --- then we have no limits. Miracles are only seen as miracles in a world where there appears to be limits and where people think they are limited. In Heaven, miracles are the norm :)

But didn't Jesus tell us that Heaven is within us and that we can have the Kingdom here and now? So what appears to be limits in this reality is just that, appearances. You are holy beyond measure. You just don't recognize it --- yet. This is why you are here at this incredible time on Earth.

If you want to recognize it, be willing to drop what prevents you from recognizing it. Pretty easy and logical, right? Funny how people want to hold on to certain beliefs and don't do what they know is in their best interest. God waits in infinite patience and Love for you to recognize who you are.

Again, it is only about recognition and remembrance, for you are already there. How willing are you to drop what is false in you, how badly do you want it?

If you want it, truly want it, you have to be consistent. You have to constantly witness your thoughts and beliefs and bring yourself back to Truth when you fall off center. When you have an emotional reaction, like anger, ask what is the belief behind that. And keep witnessing and unwinding that belief system, because it is a contorted ball that affects everything you do.

When you will fall off center (which you will) and don't live up to your expectations, then have compassion on yourself. Self compassion is the single most important thing you can do to bring yourself into God awareness. It is truly what heals you above anything else, because self compassion allows you to drop the self judgment.

When you drop the self judgment ..... then only God is there. And having self compassion allows you to have compassion on everyone and everything. Then you see only through eyes of Unity, which is all that exists. What a beautiful and holy endless fountain of compassion and Love that becomes. And then life becomes very magical.

Punishment Or Love?

You can look at something you are experiencing as punishment, or you can look at it as an opportunity to grow stronger in your faith and grow closer to Him.

The former goes hand in hand with the belief that God is a punishing God and the latter goes hand in hand with a God who is Love.

We may not yet be aware of what we have asked for at a spirit level, but God knows, and He/She is bringing us those experiences which help us to awaken. And He/She is experiencing through and as us, for we are One. To the ego these experiences may seem harsh, or punishment, but everything can be manna for you to see things in a different way, for you to awaken to a greater reality.

Everything we experience can be viewed as Love, for Love is all that exists.

Why Are You Here?

How do you create? Do you create consciously or unconsciously?

Most people create unconsciously. They don't know how they create the soup, but they are using most, if not all of the elements, to create the soup. So even if they are not spiritually oriented and don't recognize their Oneness with God, they still use their power as a Co-creator with God to manifest what they want.

The ingredients in the soup mix are thought, intention, persistence, joy, and gratitude. Just because someone uses their creative power to manifest, this doesn't mean they are using it for something that is beneficial for the whole. And there are people who understand their creative power and use it to solely benefit themselves.

What if we understood our creative power and used it to benefit the whole? This is what Jesus did. He said we would do greater things than him. But you have a choice, once you recognize how powerful you are, to use that power for good or for evil.

True service is done without regard to yourself --- it is done for the whole in the way God directs you -- this does not mean you don't have financial abundance or enjoy the things of the world, but it does mean you are not attached to them.

And why should you serve others? Because this is what Love does, and Love is your true nature. When you become what you are, when you fulfill the role God gave to you to bring yourself and others to Heaven, you have immense joy and a peace that passes understanding. This is what you want to strive for. This is why you are here on this Earth at this momentous time.

Obedience

Obedience has a strong negative connotation, especially in certain religious traditions, that is unwarranted when we talk about it in relationship to God.

Obedience to God is not His dictate. It is a choice that we make after we have usually traveled a long journey consisting of many trips which led us nowhere.

Obedience to God is done out of joy, not fear. It is done out of Love. And it is done because it brings us the greatest peace.

Obedience simply means the submission of a false self so that He can move and have His Being in us.

Love Is Like A Fountain

Love is like the clearest pool of water you can imagine.

This pool is fed by a spring that has an unlimited supply. The pool supplies water that is healing to all life that drinks from it.

Love is never a stagnant pool; it is always receiving and giving. When you clean yourself out to act as a vessel of Love, Love is constantly moving through you. You receive and you give, you receive and you give, always circulating like a fountain.

Relationships Are Manna

It is important to place your relationships above everything else. This includes your relationship with God as well as your relationships with everyone around you. In fact, you can come to know Him through your relationships with others as you learn to see Him reflected in others.

In order to see Him in others, we must stay present in the moment and see past appearances --- someone's words and actions --- even if they have done or said something for which you have a hard time forgiving them. When they have done this, it is actually manna to you, because this provides the "opportunity" to put your Will and desire to know Him into place.

How badly are you willing to come to Him, to know His peace, Love, and joy? Are you willing to know that appearances are not real and to look past the words or actions of another?

The "harder" the experience and the hurt/betrayal that you have experienced, the greater the contrast to what is Real and the greater your ability to take a quantum leap toward Him through your forgiveness of that person.

Only Through Forgiveness

When we talk about coming from an open heart, how can we do that and stay there?

First, visualize your heart opening like a flower that is announcing itself to the world and giving a blessing of its beauty and Love to every person that encounters it. This is what you give to the world and everyone who comes into contact with you when you come from an open heart.

Coming from an open heart means that you acknowledge and express the Unity and divinity that runs through ALL. It is based on respect, non judgment, and compassion. It does not mean that you are not hurt at times by others, but these are manna, are opportunities for you to stay heart centered, to grow from these so that your flower can unfold even further, increasing the blessing that you can provide the world and the next person you encounter.

It takes a warrior to live from an open heart when you are hurt, when you want to judge and attack back, to go back into your protective shell which you falsely believe keeps you safe. We are only safe in God, and you can only know God by living from an open heart.

When the hurt arises, you cannot allow it to turn into a trail of false judgment and recrimination thoughts that justify your closing of your heart. You must immediately go to forgiveness. Only through forgiveness can you heal that person, the world, and most importantly, yourself, because as you forgive others, you forgive yourself.

There Is A Reason ...

There is a reason eternally optimistic people have "good" things happen to them.

Thought is creative. This is how we were created by God --- we are a Love thought in the Mind of God (how cool is that?). So what we think, we create. What we think, we become. What we think, we manifest --- this is the law of the Universe.

But we are not meant to just manifest "stuff." This misses the whole point of why we are here. We can enjoy the material abundance, but it is the Love, peace, and joy abundance that we really want. It is the Beloved relationship, the holy communion with God that we really want. Because this is the purpose of our creation ... for God to have an experience of Himself/Herself as Love through, in, and as us.

Those who are eternally optimistic know this at some level, even if they don't recognize it consciously. They know that this reality is just a place of remembrance, that we are not the roles we play, that we are not here to accumulate stuff, not here to see from eyes of the ego and separation --- this is how evil occurs. This reality is a blip on an eternal radar where All is "good" --- it can only be good because it is All God.

Jesus said you have to be like a little child to enter Heaven because it is that innocence and eternal optimism, the fun/laughter/joy, that we really are. Being eternally optimistic means living in our true state and using the "system" as it is intended to create a life of miracles and magic.
