Build Your House

Don't try to live up to the expectations of society or the world. Don't look to these places for your salvation. This is building your house upon the sand. This is building your house, your identity, on what is false. Can you even say what you are trying to live up to --- does it even matter? What is false is false --- it doesn't reflect what is Real. Even if everyone and everything around you operates in the false, it doesn't change what is Real. It doesn't change what is within you, for that is Real. You can "pretend" that you are something you are not, but it doesn't change Truth. Build your house, build your identity, on the rock that is God. Build it on your divinity, on your Oneness with Him and all that is, even when everything and everyone around you "appears" to tell you something different.
