The Language Of Jesus
Jesus spoke, literally and figuratively, in a language you must have the ears, heart, and experience to hear.
His spoken language, Aramaic, holds vastly different meanings than what had been translated. For instance, the word sin translates into error, while the word repent means to turn and do it a different way. So Jesus was literally telling us to learn from our errors and do it a different way the next time. This is all God asks of us.
Figuratively, Jesus spoke both as a God enlightened master and as the Cosmic or Universal Christ. For he become the Christ — God’s Son — with his full recognition of his divinity. This is the path we all walk. As we shed what is false in us, we recognize what is real and we also become the Christ.
When he said he was the Light of the world, he was talking as the Christ. When he said you must come through him, he was talking as the Christ. We must recognize and remember our place as God’s Son to reach the Father. And because Christ is Love, we must do it through Love. Be the Love that you are. This is the “secret” of your salvation.
Jesus was the fulfillment of prophecy but also the fulfillment of the perfect synthesis of divinity operating in and through a human form. This is why you are here at this momentous time. And you are ready for it. Jesus said we would do greater things than him —- and he raised the dead. We should take him at his word.
