God's Love Is Sweet

God's Love is sweet. It is not a harsh love that comes from a parent who also punishes. His Love is pure joy and gentleness, with a hint of mischief and humor mixed in. Jesus was a very joyful person because he knew that this world and all of its "problems" are not real. In John 15:11 Jesus explains to his disciples, "I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete." Joy is your natural state. If you don't feel joyful, and many do not, it is because you have false beliefs about yourself, about God, about this world, etc, that block you from feeling the joy that is your inheritance from God.
