When Do You Become Fearful Or Anxious?
Do you notice how you only become fearful or anxious when you are thinking about something in the past (often guilt associated with this as well) or something in the future? Watch your mind constantly do this. Recognize, even if it is for the fleetest of moments, when your mind is still and not thinking of the past or the future. Do you feel the peace inherent in this moment? This is your true nature, even if it is completely disguised by a mind which never stops spinning like a top and which has the purpose of taking you out of the holy moment. There can be no fear or guilt or judgment present in the Now because this is where God resides. As you increasingly witness these moments, as you are increasingly One with these moments, they will expand, and eventually you can "be in this world but not of it."
