But It Appears That Way
You are on a journey of remembrance, but you are already at the destination, for you never left it. You never separated from God. It is really hard for us to grasp that we are not separate and what that means because we live in a world where everything appears separate. But appearances are not reality. It is simply our beliefs, really just our belief that we have sinned, that needs to be released and we will know Heaven and God's Presence within us instantly.
First, know that you are not sinful and God is not separate from you. Second, witness your false beliefs as they present themselves to you in many encounters and situations. Many of these beliefs may not initially be associated with God. They may go back to beliefs that were ingrained since childhood about your worth, traumas you have experienced, etc. As you start to pay attention to these false messages that run like a computer virus in your head, you can unwind them to the source and eventually release them fully. For this is what you came here to do. But you have to be diligent and you have to want this more than anything else. And you have to be willing to work through the emotional attachments --- fear, guilt, shame, anger, etc --- that are intertwined with these false beliefs.
