The Purpose Of Your Relationships

You know the feeling of joy and anticipation that comes from being in or anticipating a new romantic relationship? Every time you feel this, you are feeling the desire and anticipation of coming back to God and our divine relationship with Him. Human relationships are only the conduit for us to remember our relationship with Him. When we are in a relationship and we don't move to a higher level of seeing the divine in our partner, the relationship will likely fail, because it is ego/body based. Then you go from relationship to relationship, always being disillusioned and looking for that eternal factor but never finding it, because you are looking to the ego, not God. The ego only enters into a relationship to get something. When we see the relationship from a divine perspective, we want to give, not get.
