You Can't Control Someone Else's Choices

Why get angry over someone's choices? You can't control or change them, nor would you want to.

When we try to control, we are coming from fear. Respect and Love for Him means honoring the choices others make, even if you think they are foolish, because we are all One.

When someone makes a choice, even if you think it is foolish, you then have the ability to show how God works through you. Do you have a reaction to that foolish choice? What good will this do?

Whether you talk with the person about their choice is something you allow God to guide you in for each situation. But if you do talk with a person, come from His peace and His Love, and respect that this person has the right to make their own choices. And realize that every ripple causes a change in the One, every choice creates opportunities for you and others to make choices --- everything is in flux.

So their choice may force you to make a choice you would prefer not to make, but you have the right to make any choice you want. That is the free Will that God gave to you. So try to take a broad perspective --- see the forest instead of the trees --- when you make choices. Why is this being presented to me? How does God want me to grow from this? How can I affirm my divinity instead of my false ego self? How can I act like a warrior instead of a victim? How can my choice contribute to Unity instead of the false belief in separation?
