Do You See God?

2 Corinthians 4:17 "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal."

If we do not see Him --- and we see Him only with "eyes" of Unity -- we are not seeing what is Real. We are seeing an appearance, something temporary which will pass away. And we are establishing our identity in something that is not real, in a foundation of shifting sand.

When we believe the world over the Kingdom, we don't recognize that we are watching a play on the stage. We think this play and the acting is truly reality, and this is where fear comes from. Believing in what is false, looking outside of yourself for confirmation of who you are versus looking to God, will always engender fear.

When you know what is eternal and Real, which is God, then you know your safety is in Him and what happens in the world cannot affect you. You can be in the world but not of it.

Gentleness -- Harshness

Gentleness comes from feeling God's Presence. Harshness is experienced when His Presence is not felt. When God is not felt, there is always self judgment, which is very harsh. His Presence turns the self judgment into self Love.

Openings For Growth

As we move closer to God in our remembrance, we have to drop false beliefs and mind constructs that hinder our knowing who He really is. This can lead to "discomfort" at times when we resist dropping beliefs that we have become attached to.

If you are not willing to go through this discomfort in order to grow, then your path back to Him will be severely hindered. He gives you these opportunities continuously through people and experiences that come into your life. It is your choice whether you take advantage of them.

He cannot force this, because He loves you and you have free Will. If you don't take advantage of these openings for growth, you may feel abandoned or angry at Him when a crisis occurs. A crisis may just be an accumulation of the times you have ignored his prompts, kind of like water not being released through a dam backing up until it breaches the whole structure. Remember, He has not abandoned you, nor is He to blame. It is your choice.

Experience Heaven Now

Why is is that people are told they are going to a better place when they die? This comes from a belief in separation, a belief that there can be a here and there, a belief that God sits on a throne in Heaven.

We are One with Him, with each other, and with All that is. There is no here and there, as there is nothing outside of you. The Kingdom of Heaven is within you and is Now. Jesus told us so. Experience Heaven, right here, right now, right where you are at.

You have His joy when "you" get out of the way. Your self blocks His joy; your Self feels His joy. When you feel His joy, you are most like Him. No one can take your joy away. That is YOUR joy.

Needing To Be Right

"Peace" and "happiness" for the ego means winning, always having to be right, and always wanting more. But that also means being alone, even if you are with other, as you have created an artificial wall that prevents you from seeing Unity.

God's peace and happiness means knowing there is no "right" as what is right and wrong is unique to each of us based on our own belief system --- we "see" what we want to believe, then we use that to confirm our belief, like a dog chasing its tail. Black and white do not exist in the Kingdom of God as everything blends to grey.

God's peace and joy comes from acknowledgment of Unity, from acceptance of everything and everyone, even if you discern (not judge) that some people's action are not okay. This understanding means never feeling alone, even if you are not around anyone else.

Do you feel you always have to be right? Is it more important to be right or to have God's peace and joy?

What Piece Do You Serve?

You serve as a piece of the puzzle for the experiences of everyone you encounter, and they serve as a piece for you.

Each of us fills many roles, fitting in where we are supposed to go, not going in (not playing our role) until the pieces around us go in. There is a Divine timing to everything. If we try to short circuit that timing --- if we try to be put in or pull others in before the other pieces are in place --- the puzzle (Life) does not work.

Each of us is completely dependent on others --- no one can reach Heaven alone. That is the understanding of how Unity works.

If you take something from someone, you believe that it is a gain for you and a loss for them. In reality, when you deny someone's right to something, you are also denying your right by affirming separation and illusion. You can only gain by sharing. Heaven cannot be reached alone.

What Is Right?

Your path back to God is "right" for you. The next person's path is different but "right" for them. We can't be on the wrong path, and everyone is on a path. But all these roots lead to the same trunk, because God is One, so no one can be "off' the path. Does this broaden your definition of "right"?

Accept ALL Before Changing Anything

God is ALL. He is ALL that exists, and we are inseparable from that holy Unity.

But we live in a world that appears separate --- duality. So it appears that we can improve ourselves, take better actions, say kinder words, etc. And in this reality that we live in, we can certainly do that. Each of us has that internal compass that tells us what we need to do that is more in alignment with who we are as Divine beings, and we need to pay attention to that every moment.

When we recognize what we want to "change" in ourselves --- there can really be no change, only the appearance of change --- we must not have self judgment. We must carry that knowing that ALL is God, that ALL is holy and perfect, that we are holy and perfect, WHILE desiring change. We must accept ALL, accept ourselves as we are, WHILE recognizing what we want to "change."

If this sounds paradoxical, congratulations, as you have recognized how the whole body of God operates. It is one large paradox. We are human and spirit. All is Unity but we live in duality. We are One with God and the Son/Daughter of God. Staying in the paradox opens up the gates of Heaven for you.

Emptiness

Emptiness, having nothing, is the space that God enters in to. Having nothing does not mean that you are devoid of possessions. Having nothing means that you are devoid of attachment to possessions.

You Demonstrate What You Believe

You are a teacher. You are an example. You are a teacher, a demonstrator. You demonstrate and teach what you believe.

Not only are you an obvious example to someone like your children, you are an example to yourself. You reinforce what you believe through your demonstration.

You demonstrate judgment or Unity. You demonstrate Love or illusion. You demonstrate Heaven or hell. If you want to change your life, change what you believe, and you first do this through what you demonstrate and the example you set --- to others, for others, and especially for yourself. Each of us is a teacher to ourselves and others.

If you can't yet believe it, fake it, in all of your interactions and words. You are not really faking it --- you are just finding what was always there but hidden. You are watering a seed that has been dormant for a long time.

Believe You Have It

When you really want something you don't have, you have to act as if you already have it, expressing gratitude for it. For in reality, you have it once you have thought about it. If you put the power of your thought in to "I don't have something", then you reinforce not having it.

Such Is The Power Of Love

Such is the power of Love. Such is the power of Love that it washes away all your perceived sins. Such is the power of Love that you are silent in its Presence. Such is the power of Love that you surrender fully to it. Such is the power of Love that you weep in gratitude for it. Such is the power of Love that it brings about a full remembrance of who you are. Such is the power of Love that you have no need of anything else. Such is the power of Love that, like a moth to the light, you come back to your Beloved in holy matrimony.

How Do You Come To God?

How do you pray to God? Do you come to Him in fear or in Love? Do you believe He will punish you?

You can't be in the middle, some of both. For if you come with any fear, it is all fear. If we come in fear, how can we know Him?

He is a God of Love, not fear. We must drop this false belief that He will punish us and know that He created us to love us. We are His Beloved, His Bride. What we see and believe through the eyes of the ego is fear, not Love. His Love redeems us, cleanses us of all fear and false belief.

Self Pity

Everyone feels sorry for themselves at different points in time, but the question is whether this self pity is turned into victimhood.

Self pity and being a victim are a "me" mentality. The focus for that person becomes themselves, as if they are the center of the universe. This is an ego perspective. A person who acts like a victim believes they have power, and they are "happy" because the attention is on them.

If you take self pity and turn it around, it becomes compassion for yourself and others. This is a God perspective. Compassion, as a part of Love, takes the focus from an individual to the whole. This creates true joy, not "happiness". It also creates true power that comes from the whole as opposed to false power that the ego thinks it has.

Your Sins, Not Theirs

You never hate someone for their "sins" but your own. Since you believe that you are a sin, you project an attack on another body because you believe that you merit attack due to your guilt. If you did not feel guilty, there would be no need for attack, as what purpose would it serve.

When you have no self judgment and know your Unity, you would never attack another, as you understand this is like attacking yourself. Kindness, compassion, and Love is all that you want to express, but turning the other cheek does not mean that you allow someone to attack or berate you. Turning the other cheek means that you turn away, walk away, from what they are doing to you.

Your Ministry

Your ministry can be anything from speaking on a pulpit, to feeding the homeless, to a kind word to a friend having a hard day, to a smile for a stranger, to raising a child. No ministry is better than another. All are necessary to complete the whole.

Why Does God Allow Suffering?

The first thing we have to review is that in this reality, there are no black and white answers. Everything blends to grey as we exist in a paradox, and in the paradox you can hold two seemingly opposite perspectives simultaneously. Doing so enables you to be in the stream of infinite possibilities and outcomes that is God.

So why does God allow suffering? God does not "allow" suffering. He "allows" free Will. We have been given free Will to choose what we want individually and collectively.

For those who are here on this Earth at this time, we have chosen collectively to go down a path that mirrors a belief in separation, not one that mirrors Unity. Certainly, many have individually chosen a Unity and heart centered path, but collectively, we can see by the appearance of the world, that many have not chosen a heart centered path --- ego centered greed, blame, evil, denial of our divinity, denial that we are all connected.

"Suffering" (in quotes because recognize that everyone has a different definition of what constitutes suffering) is the natural outcome of a world that doesn't recognize Unity, doesn't recognize that we are all in this together and that we are all part of God. Suffering is the outcome you expect when egos, not Spirit, make decisions, and some think that they are better or more deserving than others. No one is more deserving than another, and we each have responsibility to express God --- His compassion and Love -- in this reality.

Now, having said all of the above, we must recognize that this is not the only Truth (the grey). Some people may have come into this life falsely believing that they are deserving of punishment, thus they have chosen "roles" where they will experience suffering. Or others may have taken actions in this life where they feel very guilty, and then in their experiences they create suffering of some type as punishment or karma. These are false beliefs because there is not a counter balancing required of "negative" actions or thoughts. What God asks of us is that we recognize our errors and learn from them and that we have great compassion on ourselves and those we have hurt.

There are also those circumstances which someone might define as suffering where God is trying to awaken someone to their greater reality. This is what they have asked for at a Spirit level, and they are not taking the cues. So He moves from a gentle nudge to hitting them over the head with a big stick, not because He is punishing them, but out of Love.

We all have different definitions of what is "good" and "bad" according to our belief systems. God is experiencing Himself through each of us and all Creation, and each of those experiences is as holy as another, even if it appears to be very hard on that individual that is experiencing adverse life circumstances. Again, we must blend into the grey of everything.

God does not want us to "suffer". He wants us to live in the greatest of peace, joy, and Love. This is why we were created out Love.

What You Don't Realize ....

What you don't realize is that your Will is the same as what God's Will is for you. This is the only way that you can have true joy, not the false joy that comes from this world.

It appears that we can have a will that is separate from God's Will as we can take actions or have thoughts that are incompatible with what He wants for us. But do we even know what He wants for us? Can we even separate the "I" from the "Him" when only Unity exists?

We BELIEVE we can have a separate will, and each of us has a completely different idea as to what that separate will would be, but belief does not make for reality. How can we have a separate will when only Unity exists, only God exists?

We live in a reality that has the appearance of duality, but only Unity exists. So by operating in this world of duality, maybe we are learning through contrast, that we are truly One and that His Will is all that exists.

Our "separate or ego self" only exists by the power of the belief we give it. Certainly, we need some type of ego or personality self to operate in this world, but it does not need to drive the boat as it does for a vast majority. It is a very small piece of who you are.

When you come to this realization, you begin to ask what truly makes you happy. And the answer .... drum roll please .... is so simple and powerful that it brings you to tears of gratitude. Each of us only wants to do His Will. Only by being a completely clear vessel through which He expresses can we fulfill our individual evolution, fulfill our role in this reality, and be a Co-creator with God, which is what He created us out of Love to do.

How do we get to this place? We have to let go of what is false, leaving only what is Real. We have to release all false beliefs, release everything that is not of God. We have to be willing to witness anything and everything in ourselves, including our fears, motives, defenses, guilt, shame, self judgment --- everything. Look behind every corner and shadow in yourself.

Again, why do we want to do this? Because it brings us JOY AND THE PEACE OF GOD. This is very much a process of self interest. I can guarantee you that you are very tired being something you are not. You play roles here, but you are not meant to identify AS those roles anymore than an actor on a stage thinks they are truly that role.

When you move into this expanded consciousness, you realize that you don't have to figure out what God's Will is. You just live it. You just are it. You move effortlessly with wherever the River of Life takes you, enjoying the scenery and paying attention to what God prompts you to do. What a beautiful way to go through Life.

The Natural Flow of Life

There is a beautiful ebb and flow to life. As God expresses through Creation, there is push "forward", a rest, a pull "backwards", and another rest before the push forward begins again. Nothing moves in a straight line forward --- thus there really is no "forward" and "backward"., And the rest periods, the pauses, are as important as the movement.

This holy movement or flow is reproduced in so many things. Think of the in breath, followed by a very brief stop, then the out breath. Think of the tide. The tide moves forward, briefly pauses, and then moves backward before pausing and moving forward again. But the tide, although appearing to retreat, is actually moving farther inland with every new wave.

Similarly, Creation is constantly evolving, expanding, moving forward, but with this in and out flow. This movement is your natural rhythm, how your life force wants to be in this world. Anything you do, like a business or some type of project or creation, even how you exercise or eat, needs to have this flow in order to be successful. What appears like retreats is simply the building of energy for the next wave to push farther forward, for Creation to unfold in greater holiness. And the rest periods, the pauses, are times when you can consolidate the energy and be grateful for what has been accomplished. Gratitude is critical for anything you want to be successful. And patience. When you are certain of the outcome, when you know that God has your highest good and you are doing His Will, then you can afford to be patient because you know what the ending will be.

What Is Behind Fear?

What is behind fear? What is behind anger, guilt, shame? And what is behind "positive" emotions like Love, joy, gratitude, etc?

We don't really need to examine why we feel Love or joy, because these are working for us! These are the emotions/attributes we share with God and we receive from being part of the Kingdom. This is our true nature. Unfortunately, a majority of people don't operate from this consciousness.

It is the "negative" emotions we want to look behind, because we don't want to live our life in continual fear or anger. Not only are these detrimental to our physical, emotional, and mental health, they are not part of our Spirit. Yes, they exist, but only in this reality, not in Heaven. And you do not have to live in this reality with continual fear or anger.

Behind all emotions are beliefs. Look behind the emotion and ask what is the belief that upholds that emotion. Your reactions can always be traced back to a thought or train of thoughts, often running at a deep level like a virus on a computer. These thoughts/beliefs originate from life --- especially childhood ---experiences.

We believe something false about ourself to the extent it becomes our very existence and reality. We create false personas and worlds to uphold these false beliefs because we fear facing what we see as the dark shadows in ourselves. We fear that God will see our "sins" and punish them. We fear that others will discover that we are putting on a show, that we are this little nothing peon, the emperor without any clothes.

We are in a time when we must witness and heal, because we are all rapidly evolving individually and collectively. God is calling each of us. The path is up to you. You must choose Love or fear, and I can tell you that you don't want to choose fear, anger, projection of blame, because it will not take you down a pleasant path.

In order to make the choice for Love, you must summon your courage, be a spiritual warrior, be willing to look at those false beliefs and face them ... and release them. Only by releasing what is false in you can you find the diamond that was always there. Only by releasing what is false can you fully know your Unity and His Love. When you know your Unity, fear cannot be present, because He is all that is present. And where Love is, fear cannot be.

Give And Let Go

When you have been guided to help someone, don't be attached to the results or even whether they listen to you. You have done the part that God asked of you. It is your ego that wants affirmation that what you provided has been accepted.

Being a clear vessel through which God works means that you get out of the way. The more you do this, the more powerful He can help people through you.

Toys And Trinkets

You don't have to renounce the toys and trinkets of the world. You can enjoy them. What you have to do is recognize whether the toys and trinkets serve as your God.

When you strive for more material goods, you are striving for something that is not real. This goes for anything in the world. You want it, because you believe these things will make you happy. Thus, you have substituted what can truly make you happy, God, with an endless and fruitless search for something that is not even real.

What Is Real

Because you have free Will, you are your own redeemer or crucifier. His Love redeems us, but many choose to act as their own crucifier. All of these thoughts and beliefs which you use to self judge and crucify yourself are not real. Only your relationship with Him and His Love is Real.

Wake Up!

Western society is fully immersed in this dream or false belief of separation. You must break out of this group or herd mentality which gives you messages that are opposite to who you really are.

You are a part of God. You live and have your being in Him, and He expresses through you. Contrary to appearances, contrary to the messages you are fed, only Unity exists.

The great fallacy is that something is right or correct or truth because most everyone believes in it or does it. This is herd mentality. Wake up! Think for yourself! Know that God is a loving God who only has your highest good. You are here for a divine purpose and its not to be part of a herd that is going off a cliff in mass because that is what they are being told to do.

Where Your Heart Is

"Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also," tells us that God is found in your heart, in His Love. This is also where your joy is found, because joy is the treasure that comes from your relationship with Him.

This is the ONLY thing that can satisfy you, fulfill you.

Know Thyself

Know thyself. This means complete honesty with yourself.

A spiritual warrior is not afraid of facing any perceived darkness within themselves or the world because they know that this perception can only be turned into Light, as it is ALL Light and Love.

Being honest with yourself means acknowledging that you cannot call yourself spiritual, Christian, Buddhist --- whatever you label as holy -- while you put judgment on others and the world. Those are incompatible, as judgment is not of God.

Knowing thyself means that that you understand that only Oneness exists and what is within you is the same as what is "outside" of you. Thus as you judge others, you are only judging yourself, and your judgment of others is a projection of your self judgment. If you desire to be a spiritual warrior and fulfill your holiness, to truly help the world, then you must stop laying your perceived sins on the world and heal yourself.

When you do this, you become a bright candle that joins others who have lit their candle, creating a Light that dispels the darkness.

The Struggle

There is no need to struggle. You create the struggle by trying to be something different than you are, by not realizing who you are, by trying to change yourself, someone else, or God.

You create all of the conflict that happens within you, and what is "inside" is reflected "outside" of you in your experiences and relationships. If you are tired of struggling, recognize the source, and ask for His help in surrendering.
