Nothing Is Random
Nothing is random because everything exists in the body of God. How can anything not be in perfect order when God is perfect?
Nothing is random because everything happens as the results of someone's choices, individually or as a group or a collective. Thus, "random" events can happen to you, but it is not random because nothing random exists. If a robber decides to break into someone's house, the owner of the house did not choose this, but the robber chose it and it impacted the house owner.
But God does not leave us without his protection, so in some way God warned the house owner that this might happen ... it is just that this person was not paying attention, not listening. Maybe there was a news program on about a rash of robberies in the neighborhood. Maybe the house owner saw a number of strange people walking in the neighborhood but continued leaving their garage open. Maybe God gave them a big intuitive hint that they should leave the lights on that night. This is why we must constantly pay attention to what God is telling us, how He is leading us, how He is loving us.
We are subject to a number of things outside our control like the air we breathe, the water we drink, the laws we are subject to. So we are subject to "random" things that we must deal with. But how we choose to react is not random. How we deal with the situation, as a warrior or victim, is not random.
