What If You Had No Beliefs?

What if you were shown an object that you had never seen before and you had no idea what it was? You would be open to any explanation or interpretation of what it was.

Think about a chair. You think you know what it is for because you have seen people sitting in chairs all of your life. But what if you had never seen anyone sitting and had no idea what the chair was for?

What if you had been "taught" absolutely nothing about God by your parents, religion, other people, etc? What if there existed no religions, no histories of past prophets, no theologians, etc?

Just like the examples above, you would have no idea what this word "God" means. Open yourself to Him as if this were the case and allow Him to reveal Himself to you. Come to Him without preconceived ideas of who He has to be. Do not place any limits on Him.
