Convincing Others
The more we need to convince others of your views, the greater we live in fear.
This holds true across all spectrums, including the need to make converts in religion. When we are comfortable in our beliefs, we are comfortable in them. We don't have to convince anyone else. We speak about your beliefs if we feel led to, but then we let it go and aren’t attached to the results. Being attached to the results means we are looking outside of ourselves for our identity.
Saying that God wants us to make converts is taking responsibility off ourselves and trying to project our fear onto God. God knows nothing of fear, as He is Love. And He certainly doesn't take sides. He is expressing through each and every one of us, and we are all part of Him, One with Him. Why would He take sides against Himself?
