Real Gratitude and Unity

Do you compare yourself to others? Its okay, you can raise your hand and admit it --- really everyone does. Does it make you feel better if you have more money, a better job, better looks, etc, than someone else? The ego always looks for something to compare with and feel better about itself. We can call this ego gratitude, but it is really hellish gratitude, because it is not the gratitude that c...omes from knowing your Unity with God and All that is. In Unity, there are no comparisons --- there is only Unity. And from this recognition comes a gratitude that will bring you to tears ---gratitude that we are One, gratitude that His Love and Presence carries you and you feel it always, gratitude that there is eternal certainty and safety in Unity. You need do nothing to recognize and feel this Unity except to drop what is false within you such as self judgment and fear.
