Guilt

Guilt is not of God, for He is Love, compassion, abundance, joy, and peace.

But guilt can provide an important learning tool as it is like an internal compass that tells us when we have strayed from a Unity and one hearted perspective. The problem with the way that the world appears is that those who are two hearted --- those who see themselves as separate from others and believe (falsely) that they can take actions to increase their wealth, hurt others, or "control" Mother Nature, that they can do whatever they want without consequence and without impacting themselves --- they have cut themselves off from their divinity and their internal compass, so they feel no guilt.
Guilt is not good, but it shows us where we need to change things, so it can be blessed as a starting point. Let it make you aware of what you want to change, then CHANGE IT. If you did something that was harmful to another in your actions or words, say you are sorry (if you can) and use that as impetus to not do it again.

Don't punish yourself and stay in the guilt. God is not punishing us and does not want us to stay in guilt, because that is self punishment. God only wants us to learn from our mistakes and hopefully not repeat them. When we learn from our mistakes and we also have compassion on ourselves for those mistakes, we have opened the doors of Heaven and we have come back to Him in our recognition and remembrance, because we never left Him to start.

As you change and evolve in your consciousness, as those around you see how you can forgive and not stay in guilt, how you can have compassion on yourself and them, this helps them to remember. They see the Light in you getting brighter and that awakens the Light in them. Wow, how holy and blessed is that?
