Lay Down Your Swords

It can be difficult to not react or get defensive when someone blames you, especially if you feel the blame is unwarranted.

The ego believes that others are out to get it, that it is a dog eat dog world. This a fundamental pillar of the false belief that we are separate. But Spirit and a consciousness of Unity understands that we are not separate, that we are all in this together, that no one goes to Heaven alone.

When people "attack", they are coming from a wounded or fear perspective. They are asleep to their greater reality in God. If you can see someone's "attack" as a call for Love, and you know that you are Love, then there is no need for you to attack back. You can lay down all your swords, and you can respond back to them with what they ask for, which is Love. This helps both of you to remember God.
